At Quiet Minds Counselling Center, our approach is client-centered and tailored to your individual needs. We draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, REBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and others as needed. 

We believe in creating a safe, supportive space for you to explore your concerns, develop coping skills, and achieve your goals in a collaborative journey.

At present, Quiet Minds Counselling Center offers online counselling only. While we do not have a physical office space for in-person sessions at this time, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible therapy through our secure online platform. We may consider offering in-person sessions in the future as our practice grows.

Yes, absolutely! At Quiet Minds Counselling Center, we offer a comprehensive range of therapy services designed to support couples and families. This includes couples counselling, family therapy, and individual therapy that can address relationship dynamics and family issues. We are here to help with a wide variety of concerns, including communication problems, conflict resolution, parenting challenges, infidelity, and life transitions.

Confidentiality & Ethics

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship, and we take it very seriously at Quiet Minds Counselling Center. Everything you share in therapy is considered confidential, within the limits of the law.

No, we do not record our online therapy sessions unless we both explicitly agree to it, and the recording will never be used for any purposes other than therapeutic ones without your signed consent. Recording is generally not a standard part of our practice, as we prioritize maintaining the confidentiality and spontaneity of our conversations.

Yes, I offer emergency sessions for existing clients experiencing a crisis, including suicidal thoughts. Your safety is my top priority. If you’re in crisis, contact me immediately.

Please include the word “CRISIS,” “URGENT,” or the phrase “IN CRISIS – NEED TO TALK” in your message or email subject line to ensure I see it right away. I will make every effort to be available to you as soon as possible. Fees

Yes, absolutely! At Quiet Minds Counselling Center, we are providing two free initial sessions to all new clients. It’s a great opportunity to experience the benefits of online therapy and see if it’s a good fit for you. To book your free sessions, simply contact us through the contact form on our website.

Our standard session duration at Quiet Minds is one hour. However, based on your specific needs and preferences we can schedule the session for more than an hour. This allows us to delve deeper into the issues at hand without feeling rushed.

At Quiet Minds Counselling Center, we offer a transparent fee structure. Your first two sessions are completely free of charge. This allows you to experience online therapy and see if it’s a good fit for you. Subsequent sessions are 1000 INR each.

About Therapy in General

If you’re experiencing emotional distress, relationship problems, or difficulty coping with life’s challenges.

Common signs that therapy might be helpful include feeling persistently sad, anxious, or overwhelmed; struggling in relationships; using unhealthy coping mechanisms; or feeling stuck in negative patterns.

We require at least 6 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. This allows us to offer  the appointment slot to other clients who may be waiting.  

Cancellations made with less than 6 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee. We understand that emergencies happen, and we will address those on a case-by-case basis.

Preparing for online therapy at Quiet Minds is similar to in-person, with a few key differences. Ensure you have a reliable internet connection in a private, quiet space. Test your camera and microphone on the platform we will be using. Take a few minutes before your session to center yourself and consider what you’d like to talk about
